Discount: your starting rate is set at a discount off the Society's standard variable rate. After the discount period has concluded your rate will revert to the Privilege rate for the rest of your mortgage term.

Fixed Rate: your starting mortgage rate is fixed for an agreed period, after which your rate will be set above the Bank of England Base Rate Tracker.

Privilege: your rate will be set at this specified rate for your entire mortgage.

Standard Variable Rate: your initial rate will be set at the Society's standard variable rate. After this period is over your rate will go back to the Privilege rate for the rest of your mortgage.

Self Certification: these types of mortgage products are aimed at the self employed and include discount, fixed and flexx products.

Offset: this type of product offsets your saving's against your mortgage. Coventry has discount, tracker and fixed rate options.
