Yorkshire scoops Regional Lender award

The Yorkshire Bank has been bestowed the accolade of Best Regional Mortgage Lender, by a respected finance publication.
The prize was handed out? by the Your Mortgage publication, but was made all the more remarkable as it’s the tenth time in which the lender has scooped the award.
Alongside its sister organisation, Clydesdale Bank, which was named Best Mortgage Lender in Scotland, representatives from Yorkshire claimed their award at a ceremony earlier this week.
Editor-in-chief of Your Mortgage, Paula John, said that Yorkshire Bank has a great track record, having claimed the award for Best Regional Leader ten times over the years.
She added that Yorkshire's achievements were even more impressive in the presently challenging financial climate, when borrowers needed the reassurance of competitive mortgages and good customer service more than ever.
In other mortgage news, the intermediary Coventry earlier this week unveiled a new range of products in a bid to help borrowers beat the credit crunch.
