iGroup iGroup
iGroup is a part of GE money which started in October 2005. This in turn is a division of the General Electric Company USA which was established in 1892. It is aimed at intermediaries who provide advise to customers.

Intermediaries are organisations or individuals that specialise in arranging mortgages for their customers via a variety of mortgage providers, but who do not provide mortgages of their own.

iGroup's products are marketed under the iGroup brand as GEM Mortgages. GEM's interest rates are linked to Barclays Bank base rate.

iGroup have the following mortgages:

  • Variable Trackers
  • Fixed Rate
  • Discount Rate
It currently offers fixed rate mortgages for 1, 2, 3 and 4 years and discount mortgages for 1 and 2 years.

The rates of mortgage products are set according to the individual customer's personal credit history. The better your credit history the lower the rate you will get.
