House prices dip to average £210495 in August – AOL UK

House prices in the U.K. have been dropping on prices. The average price of a home is around 210,495 euros. In August, they have seen a 0.1% decrease. The annual growth has halved in the past year, being at 5.6% last August. Robert Gardner is the chief economist from Nationwide says that the mounting pressure on household finances is exerting a drag. He also commented that the wages have been failing to keep up with the cost of living in recent months. He added that housing market developments will depend on wider economic performances.
