House prices: ‘Market drought may be over’ – The Week UK

House price growth in the UK’s newer towns has, on average, increased more than the UK average. For example, Milton Keynes has seen the highest price rise over the past 30 years, with an average increase of 601% over this period. The study was completed by Halifax and used data from 26 towns. House prices are continuing to show increases, with prices close to a record high in December 2016.
