UK construction ‘flirting with recession’ as Brexit uncertainty bites – The Guardian

The economy in the United Kingdom is moving close to recession since the Brexit vote. Growth in commercial and residential construction has hit a one year low in August. Chief economist Samuel Tombs from Pantheon Macroeconomics says that the UK economy is closer than ever to another recession. And with the UK’s exit from the European Union moving closer, many firms are looking to move their base from London, to a country within the European Union.
