Young Londoners head to Margate to escape the capital’s sky-high property prices – Evening Standard

Due to high property costs in London many are leaving the capital for the seaside town of Margate.
Londoners account for 66% of people moving to the town.
Margate also attracts Londoners due to it’s cultural scence including an art gallery featuring works by Tracy Emin, who was brought up in the town.
