Cyprus
is the fifth most popular holiday destination for people in
Britain - helped by its hospitable climate, culture and people.
The
cost of living is still significantly lower than in the UK and
Britons who choose to move there permanently benefit from a
fairly generous tax regime.
Cyprus benefits from plenty of budget flights from the UK and
over the last few years has seen a considerable quantity of
modern residential housing built - often for the overseas market.
As a result, buying a home in Cyprus is getting easier and easier
- especially because since 2004 the Republic has been a member
of the EU.
